The French language is loaded with idiomatic expressions and basic sayings based on the verb faire in French which can be translated by to make or to do in English. Faire is an irregular French verb, and it is one of the few verbs that is irregular in the vous form of the present indicative (vous faites) as well as in the ils form (ils font).
